I often get bored when I am making something with following the pattern…, following pattern means you know how it will be.
Then I end up with making something else with twisting the original pattern.
For this neck warmer, I had more simple plan originally, but it became this way because I got bored with the colours I was using originally.
So I added more colours, then I had to make irregular routines of colour changing and stitch pattern changing.
I always choose several colours before starting as everyone does, with checking balls of yarns look happy together, but the characters of colours change after.
Colours help each other to be attractive, dull, or yuck.
Going back and forward to decide next colour to use, it is really thrilling for me.
Maybe it is like oil painting…, then I was thinking about mountains from my memories.
I could finish the neck warmer without getting bored.

I googled “mountains” to decide the name.
I bought the book, butI haven’t read it yet.
I think the story is about, “You never know what will happen after until getting into.”
I guess there is some similarity to making the neck warmer. (?)
